A festive evening, five clowns co-host and perform. This evening, there is comedy, short sketches, music, dancing, and even some business service time. There is friendship, affection and even a little love going on between them, leading each and every one of them to realize their dreams, fantasies and even some daydreams, entering the wonderful land of dreams together..

Underground

Where have all the missing MRT passengers gone? After work when the lights go dim, what lurks on the MRT platforms? Through inspector Taos investigation, the face of the underground world is unmasked, but the investigation itself is like an automatic train running at full speed, racing towards an unseen destination...An inspector, a mysterious woman, and a mystical voyage.

Dinner For One

This is the story of a very ordinary woman; around 30 of age, with a sustaining but boring job, living by herself in a small room; dining alone, killing time, self entertaining... Like every woman, she is afraid of getting fat, growing old, yearning for someone to hold...But on this day, between coming home and leaving for work again, something magical and beautiful happened when she least expected...

Alone in the World’s Room

The play was liberally Adapted from 《Oscar et la dame rose》by the French novelist and play writer Eric-Emmanuel Schmitt. Who else can understand the meekness and love of a clown better than a cancer child about to face death? Using clown, mime, puppet, and stage machinery, we add a dreamy color to this seemingly sad story.

What is Theatre de la Sardine?

Masks, clowns, chants, mimes, acrobatics, theatre of objects: the Theatre de la Sardine, a company of contemporary art, tries to combine street performance, circus, and physical theatre in order to explore new forms of theatre. Ma Chao-chi, creator of the company and graduated from the International School of Theatre Jacques Lecoq, considers that the element the most important of theatre, are the actors. By pulling the best of themselves, she exalt the actors’ talent and their creativity.
